BigMachines maintains several certifications and accreditations to ensure that we provide the highest standards of service and reliability to our customers.
SAS 70 Type II
BigMachines has successfully completed the SAS 70 (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70) Type II audit. SAS 70 is a widely recognised auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. It represents that a service organisation has been through an in-depth audit of their control activities. This certification assures our customers that we have effective controls, standards and infrastructure in place to protect their data.
BigMachines has successfully met the Safe Harbor compliance requirements as certified by the U.S. Dept of Commerce. This compliance ensures that personal data transfers from the European Union to the United States meet the adequacy requirements of the European Union’s Directive on Data Protection.
BigMachines has been accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Accreditation standards include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. BigMachines' BBB reliability report and additional information is available at www.bbb.org.
